Kenpo X - I did better this time around with the warm up. No toppling over with the yoga moves. Also this time I was able to do the running in place and jumping jacks during the breaks. I sweated more this time than last time which is good progress.
I am 26 years old. I was a swimmer through high school and college. Since graduating from college in 2004, I have done some running, and I joined a gym for a year once, but I haven't done any serious working out. I have always been fairly active and I'm lucky to have a high metabolism, so I am not overweight despite the lack of working out.
I am getting married in July and have always pictured that I would be in "the best shape of my life" on my wedding day, so I decided to start a workout program I would be serious about. I am not unhappy with my body shape or size, just the lack of muscle. When I was swimming, evey muscle in my body was strong and defined. Since then, I have lost 10 pounds simply because I have lost all that muscle. My fiance bought P90X and I decided to give it a try. I am following the workout plan to a "T" and I am also following the suggested meal plan with a few adjustments (I don't eat red meat and I'm really not a fan of fish).
